On October 6, 2023, Hania Rani’s third solo album “Ghosts” will be released by Gondwana Records. The artist invited Patrick Watson, Ólafur Arnalds and Duncan Bellamy (from Portico Quartet) to cooperate. The album was created with the help of Viktor Orri Árnason, responsible for the string arrangements, and Greg Freeman, who handled the mixing. “Ghosts” was mastered by John Davis at Metropolis Studios.

With “Ghosts” I wanted to start something from scratch, choosing tools and stories that I didn’t know but that seemed important to me. “Ghosts” is a story about life and death, light and darkness, real and unreal. It is an attempt to touch upon ultimate features, an attempt to create one’s own mythology. I wanted to face my fears, delve into things that frighten me, but also subconsciously seduce me. “Ghosts” brings all these things together, mixing the past, present and future in my new sound – says Hania Rani about the new album.
