HUGH CORNWELL: THE FIRST VOICE AND GUITAR OF THE STRANGLERS
Guitarist. Vocalist. Songwriter behind tracks that became history. Golden Brown. Always The Sun. No More Heroes. Strange Little Girl. He gave punk rock its literary, dark depth and baroque sweep. He recorded 10 albums with The Stranglers - records that remain a reference point for anyone searching for real experience and discovery in music.
THE SOLO PATH
Since 1990 he has gone his own way. No looking back. He has released 10 solo albums. Still hunting for new sounds. Still experimenting. „Moments of Madness” is proof that real talent has no age. At Soundedit we will hear his newest compositions and the greatest The Stranglers hits - in his own, unique arrangements.
A DEBT REPAID IN ŁÓDŹ
Łódź, 1986. ŁKS Stadium. Playback. A few minutes of miming for television. Time to fix that mistake. On 25 October 2026 Cornwell plays Łódź the way it should be done.
For real. No compromises. At Soundedit's 18th birthday.

LECH JANERKA: THE DEFINITION OF ARTISTIC FREEDOM
Composer. Bass player. Lyricist whose words changed Polish rock forever. Jezu jak się cieszę. Konstytucje. Rower. Jest jak w niebie. He appears rarely. Always on his own terms. Every time he steps on stage it is an event - not a tour stop, but an episode you remember.
AGAINST THE CURRENT
In Wrocław in 1979 he founded Klaus Mitffoch. One album from 1984 was enough to change everything. New Wave in Polish. Then he went solo. „Historia podwodna”, „Bruhaha” and „Plagiaty” - all awarded with Fryderyk prizes. In 2023 he returned with „Gipsowym odlewem falsyfikatu”. Still sharp. Still uncompromising.
A LAST LOOK TOWARDS ŁÓDŹ
In 2014 the festival honoured him with the Golden Ear Award. On 25 October 2026 Janerka returns to Wytwórnia for his last concert in Łódź. The closing of an era. One last time.

DEZERTER: 45 YEARS ON THE FRONT LINE
They never deserted. Founded in Warsaw in 1981 as SS-20 - the name of a ballistic missile that defined their intentions from day one. Four decades later they celebrate 45 years with a new album, „Wolny wybieg”, at the top of the sales charts. This is not nostalgia. This is still an active combat unit.
SS-20: WHERE THEY CAME FROM
They started as SS-20. Renamed Dezerter in 1982. Censorship. Maximum Rock'n'Roll. Dead Kennedys. Robert Matera, Krzysztof Grabowski, Jacek Chrzanowski. Forty-five years. The same message. The same honesty.
THE ONLY CONCERT IN ŁÓDŹ
On 25 October, one time only, in one place only. Dezerter chose Soundedit to promote their new album.

ZIEMOWIT KOSMOWSKI: THE RETURN OF THE GODFATHER
Ziemowit Kosmowski. A Łódź legend, the voice of the bands Brak and Rendez-Vous. A man who helped shape punk rock and the new wave in Poland, rather than merely listening to them. At Soundedit’s 18th birthday celebrations, he appears in the duo K-2 with Agata Poremba-Kosmowska. It’s a return to his roots, but without cashing in on past glories. It’s the two Kosmowskis and a single, uncompromising vision of music that needs no electricity to strike like lightning.
THE DUSTY BOX: A STORY FROM THE ATTIC
A box. An acoustic guitar found years later in the attic, in the cellar, pulled from the dark cupboard of memories. The ‘Ciężkie PUDŁO’ project is not just a title – it is the weight of experiences poured into notes. These are songs unearthed from beneath a layer of dust, full of sarcasm, but also of unexpected hope. From the nostalgic single “Dom i TY” to the folk-punk protest in “Balonie z HELEM”. This is the second major album premiere of this year’s festival – following Friday’s Maszynowa, Sunday brings us an acoustic manifesto released by GAD Records.
FIESTA OF THOSE WHO THINK DIFFERENTLY
Sunday 25 October becomes the official celebration of the rebellious. Hugh Cornwell, Lech Janerka, Dezerter and Ziemowit Kosmowski. Four different paths, one common denominator – intellectual independence. K-2 rounds off the line-up, introducing an element of folk grit and poetic mayhem. This is not an evening of reminiscence – it is a demonstration of the strength of those who have been thinking differently for decades.
The final day of the festival. The last chance to meet the elite of the disobedient.
