MASZYNOWA: NEW ROMANTIC FROM WIDZEW. GLITTER, CONCRETE, DUST.

Grzegorz Fajngold and Marcin Pryt. A duo from Łódź, active since 2024. Remember 19 Wiosen? Forget them. Now it's Maszynowa's turn: electro-punk – delicate and concrete at the same time.

Their music starts with the city. Łódź is changing – amusement parks disappear, monuments come down, factories stand empty. Maszynowa records what vanishes. „Supernowa” is a portrait of places that no longer exist on the map. Deeply local in every detail – and for exactly that reason, it resonates wherever old and new collide in the urban jungle. Łódź is just the address. The subject is universal.

Marcin Pryt is no average songwriter. He writes poems that find their way into music. „Stars are jewelry for the poor” – that's not a chorus. It's a line that stays with you. Fajngold builds the music around it – made for dancing and thinking. Produced by Cool Kids of Death, recorded at Maciej Werk's studio.

In June 2025, the day Polish astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski left the atmosphere, they walked into the studio without a plan and recorded „Kosmos dla wszystkich”. Because music that reacts to what is happening now doesn't wait.

OBYWATELKA K.L.: ARTIST OF THE YEAR. THREE FRYDERYK AWARDS 2026.

HOWIE B.: THE SOUND ARCHITECT. THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN EAR.

He returns to Soundedit to bring the story of his mastery full circle. From making tea at Hans Zimmer's to laying the foundations of trip-hop with >strong>Massive Attack and Björk.

Collaborator to Tricky, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Brian Eno. He was the one who brought the language of underground clubs to the world's largest stadiums. As an engineer and co-producer, he gave an electronic pulse to works such as Björk's „Post” and „Homogenic.” His resume is a technical chronicle of modern electronic music: from Mo'Wax to soundtracks for Wim Wenders.
