What’s it like to work with not one, but two genre-defining acts, as well as a deep bench of other talent? Daryl Bamonte would know. Jumping into Depeche Mode’s orbit at the beginning, he oversaw multiple roles between 1980 and 1995, including, unexpectedly, touring keyboardist in 1994. He worked with The Cure from 1995 until 2005, forming Bamonte Artist management the same year. In 2014 he joined Schubert Music, became active as a speaker at international music conferences and formed his new company, Archangelo Music, in 2022. This includes two labels, Archangelo Recordings, and Bamala Newtown, as well as Archangelo Songs, whose worldwide publishing is handled by BMG. Additionally, Bamonte has been an Ambassador for Europe in Synch since 2022 and has been the keyboardist in the Norwegian band Permafrost since 2016.
